Wine education everyone can understand

There's a ton of wine classes for the tip-top of the wine world, but where’s that interesting, fun, engaging wine education everyone can understand? At Boston Wine School, you don’t need a Ph.D. in wine to take our classes. BWS is where wine lovers at every level learn how to taste, think, and talk about wine. You're going to love what you learn!

ONLY 4 LEFT! Saturday, April 13 | Wine, cheese, and the pursuit of happiness

Wine and cheese are a naturally delicious combination. They’ve been together for 8,000 years that we know of, and our species has been busy figuring out ways to make both of them more and more delicious all the time. This class – limited to 10 students – will taste six major wine and cheese combinations together that express the full range of how these foods match up: by style, by texture, by flavor, geography, even temperament.

Meet me in the vineyard

For the true wine lover, nothing compares with tasting and learning about wine right where it's made: in the vineyard. When I first started writing about wine, Greenvale Vineyards founders Nancy & Cort Parker - publishers of the New England Wine Gazette - were the first to hire me, so bringing the Boston Wine School back to Greenvale means a lot to me.

Pack your bags for harvest in Rioja!

We’ve found the place, the people, and the wines to create the Boston Wine School experience in Rioja, and you’re invited! Join me and Callie for a week in October learning and understanding what makes this wine region so relentlessly delicious. You’ll visit many vineyards and wineries, and you’ll experience the foods, cheeses, and meats Rioja is famous for.

I love what I do - tasting, thinking, talking, and teaching about wine - and I hope I'm able to share a little bit of that love in this podcast.
