April 11-17, 2023 | 20 people maximum | Covid-smart, stress free, deep & uplifting wine travel

People ask me all the time if I ever think about doing wine travel, and many travel companies have approached us, but nothing has been anywhere close to Boston Wine School style. Until now. Now I’ve found the place, the people, and the wines to create Boston Wine School | Tuscany and you’re invited!

We’ll be staying in one place the entire time – beautiful Tenuta Santo Pietro in Pienza – and we’re going to have Montepulciano, Montalcino, and Pienza almost all to ourselves since our twice-a-year itineraries are timed for the week before and the week after the tourist season.

We’ll have wine tasting experiences every day along with a complement of food, family, and history you’ll never forget. If you’re ready to eat, drink, and breathe Tuscany, Boston Wine School is ready to take you there.

What people said about our November 2022 trip to Tuscany

It was a great trip! It was evident how much thoughtful planning went into creating the itinerary.

Best of the best… everyone is so kind and welcoming and Bertina definitely makes the experience.

Truffle hunting was one of the greatest experiences of my life!

The bed was so comfortable I stripped the sheets to find the manufacturer.

The landscape was beautiful, like something a painter would have composed. I was absolutely spoiled the entire time.

It was wonderful to walk the land.

I don’t think I’ve ever tasted so much great wine before. I’m glad we went home with some.

The meals were delicious and the serving sizes were perfect. (Chef) Valentino knows how to please.

Rooms

Tenuta Santo Pietro is a 12 bedroom inn dating back to the 13th century, plus a two-bedroom standalone cottage. Every bedroom has its own marble bathroom and is equipped with air conditioning and satellite television. None of the 12 bedrooms is exactly alike, and there are three levels based simply on size and general location. All of the rooms are very nice, and of the same finish quality. Some are bigger and some smaller, some face the valley, some face the courtyard, but these are the only real differences. Two of the rooms are wheelchair accessible. Many rooms feature king beds that can be made into two twin beds as necessary.

Each room at Tenuta Santo Pietro is charmingly unique, original in style, and updated to the same high standards

“Cru” Level One: Trebbiano | Moscato | Mammolo | Pugnitello | Sangiovese

These five cozy luxury rooms each have unique features. One is wheelchair accessible.

“Classico” Level Two: Colorino | Ciliegiolo | Vernaccia

Three slightly larger luxury rooms are very spacious, and one is wheelchair accessible.

“Riserva” Level Three: Malvasia | Canaiolo | Vermentino

These three are the largest, most comfortable luxury rooms with the best scenic views.

La Casina – the cottage – is the ultimate location at Tenuta Santo Pietro

La Casina

Two-bedroom cottage with living room, kitchen and private terrace. One king bedroom and one room with twins that can be made into a king. Sleeps 4 people.
